Branch GDPR Readiness Assessment

This Framework outlines the key data protection / GDPR requirements across the three key governance areas of Accountability, Transparency and Security.

Please use this checklist to assess your current position on 40 key data protection / GDPR requirements.

Guidance on filling in the ‘Readiness Assessment Form’

  • The Current Position column of the spreadsheet will accept values of Yes, No and Not Sure. So please do not type anything except these words as the form will not be able to accept it.
  • The next column is used to indicate whether the procedure or policy exists, where it can be found, whether it needs amending and who will do it - or whether it needs to be created using the starting point supplied by national office.

Some of the questions may seem unclear now but as we continue to prepare for GDPR over the coming weeks - with the help of materials supplied by national office, face-to-face training with Protecture and further webinars – it will become much clearer.

The aim is to have addressed areas of non-compliance by 25 May, however identifying any issues and recording who is doing what and by when will provide assurance that we are all taking our responsibilities under GDPR seriously.
