The Greening City Regions campaign is in coalition with Green Alliance, The National Trust, The Wildlife Trusts and Campaign for Better Transport. The Green Cities Index launched 12 May and measures the city regions against a range of green indicators, such as air quality and green infrastructure, as well as sustainable housing and transport. Local press releases highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the city regions, which are electing local mayors in May, can be seen below. The statistics and data on how the regions perform on a variety of green issues is also available below.
