CPRE’s Memorandum of Understanding

As you know a CPRE-wide consultation on the proposed Partnership Agreement has recently been completed, and as you will see the name has been changed to 'Memorandum of Understanding' which reflects the majority view on the most appropriate name for the document. A copy is available for downloading below.

Thank you to all of you for taking the time to discuss the draft document and provide your feedback, following which the Working Group has made changes to the wording to reflect the responses received. We believe that the Memorandum now encompasses the spirit of partnership and co-operation in which all parts of CPRE can work effectively together to maintain a strong organisation.

The Board confirmed its acceptance of the Memorandum at its meeting on 5th March and agreed that the document should be sent to all branches and regional groups. The Board also agreed that any branch or regional group unwilling to accept the Memorandum should be encouraged to get in touch with national office to discuss its concerns.

For those who haven't done so already, please send back your signed copies of the MoU to Antonia White (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or contact national office to discuss your concerns. Thank you.
