Web survey book winners announced

The book tells the story of the evolution of England’s relationship with the countryside. The book tells the story of the evolution of England’s relationship with the countryside. CPRE

We recently ran a survey asking our online readers to give us some feedback on how we’re doing with our website. Everyone who completed the survey was automatically entered into a contest to win 1 of 10 copies of our new book, 22 Ideas That Saved the English Countryside. All the names went into the hat, and we are pleased to now announce the winners, who have all been notified and will be receiving their books shortly.

The winners are:

  • Abby Hipwell from Kettering
  • David Harvey from Wiltshire
  • Don Harman from Arundel
  • Graham Jones from Bracknell
  • John Jeffird from Haynes
  • Mark Taylor from Tenterden
  • Martin Toll from Marlow Bottom
  • Maureen Mills from Halsall
  • Melissa Rose from Chesterfield
  • Terry Godman from Croydon

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the survey. Congratulations to all the winners. For those who didn’t win, all is not lost, as the book is still available to buy online from Blackwell's, as well as from the usual shops and websites (RRP £25).

CPRE members are entitled to a 40% discount (£15 inc free UK P&P) when ordering direct using the details and offer code printed on page 12 of the Spring issue of Countryside Voice magazine. If you don’t have the details to hand, contact our Supporter Services team.

All proceeds from the book go to CPRE.

22 – the length of a chain or cricket pitch, the unit of the square acre – is quite the most English of all the numbers.
