Make protecting the countryside part of your business

The English countryside is one our greatest assets – and the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) is the most effective national organisation in England determined to protect and enhance it.

Protecting the countryside is not just about beautiful landscapes and attractive villages; it is about prosperity, well-being and quality of life for all of us. That’s why it’s your business too.

Work with us to protect our countryside

Our aims are practical and realistic. We don’t seek to preserve the countryside as a museum, but to ensure that its tranquillity, beauty and diversity are not thoughtlessly destroyed. We are a highly respected campaigning organisation, reasoned and authoritative in our arguments, independent and principled in debate, and constructive in our proposals. We work closely with our sister organisations in Scotland (Rural Scotland) and Wales (Campaign to Protect Rural Wales). We need the whole community, including organisations like yours, to be behind us.

Make a commitment to the environment

As a corporate supporter of CPRE you will be showing your support for protecting the environment and defending our country’s unique rural heritage. You will be saying something important about your own company.

Your corporate support will provide tangible evidence of your company’s environmental commitment and will clearly signal your corporate principles and your role in the wider world.

Working together

Studies have shown that working with charities has a positive effect on a company image and leads to increased customer loyalty. In 2003, 82% of UK consumers brought a product associated with a charity or cause. Your customers will identify the good work your organisation is doing in helping to protect and show your concern for the environment.

We would be happy to explore joint opportunities for staff volunteering and cause related marketing and sponsorship for corporate supporters who wish to be more closely involved with CPRE.
