CPRE Awards 2014

Winner: Peter Neal, CPRE Dorset

Peter Neal’s leadership of a successful fight against the prospect of an edge-of-town supermarket won him an award from The Daily Telegraph.

Joint winners: Claire Cox, CPRE South Shropshire and Kevin FitzGerald, CPRE Hertfordshire

Both winners of this Award have led their respective CPRE groups to many successes and been instrumental in making them the vibrant campaigning organisations they are today.

Winner: Bob Kerr, CPRE Dorset

Fed up with the lack of action on the litter that was blighting his local town, Bob Kerr set up the Dorchester Stop the Drop group with a few residents six years ago.

Winner: Gosport and Lee LitterAction in partnership with Give, Gain and Grow and Loud and Proud volunteering groups

Since Gosport and Lee LitterAction was formed in September 2010 volunteers have collected well in excess of 900 bags of rubbish from local beaches, roads, parks, open spaces and hedgerows.
