CPRE Oswestry volunteers worked as a team to forge and guide a “Keep Our Town Special” coalition of campaigners in their protests against four large retail applications that presented simultaneous threats to the character of the town and its businesses.

John Westmoreland, secretary for the Fylde District Office, campaigned against a proposed housing development at Wesham.

Patrick Kinnersly, volunteer for CPRE Wiltshire, devoted an excess of time, expertise, and energy to the campaign to stop the Westbury Bypass.
